V. S. Joy is a prominent leader of the Indian National Congress in Kerala and currently serves as the MLA of Thavanur Assembly Constituency.
Previously, he held the position of District Congress Committee (DCC) President in Malappuram and was widely recognized as one of the youngest DCC Presidents in India.
Before assuming this role, Joy served as the Convener of the State Campaign Committee of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC). He also served as the State President of the Kerala Students Union (KSU), where he became actively involved in student leadership and public service.
Born on November 23 in Nilambur, Kerala, to V.A. Savior and Mariama Savior, Joy completed his BA LLB from Calicut Law College and established himself as a lawyer. Alongside his legal career, he continues to play an active role in politics and social welfare activities, engaging in various initiatives for public development and community service.
Currently serving as the District Congress Committee President for Malappuram.

Played a significant role as the convener of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee's State campaign committee during the Lok Sabha Election.
Ran as a candidate in the Assembly Election in Malampuzha against former Chief Minister V. S. Achuthanandan.
